Been an odd week

Well, its been an odd week. I can't really talk about it except t0 say that I had to cut a limb off last week without anyone noticing. And as you'd imagine people noticed.

Now this feels a little weird but its completely normal. Or as normal as all this "web2.0" malarkey is.

A good friend of mine's partner "Facebook poked" me which is a tad weird but then again it led to a wonderful exchange about music. Well, I thought it was wonderful.

She said she wanted to listen to old vinyl with my friend which is perfect and I lamely replied:
"Am currently doing the digital version of "listening to old vinyl" - ie going through the arse end of iTunes and putting names to "Track 01 Track 01 Track 02 Track 02...".
Heard some lovely old pleasures like Mr Bojangles by Sammy Davis Junior, Radiohead as sung by Sinatra and the Langley School Project...."

this scraping of one's collection is always good

Now I'm listening to the abum he lent me "The land where the Blues began" which is just sooooo good.

I need to live in a soundproofed room so I can play harp without worrying about it!

what can i say...?

After looking at what I tag my posts with, it seems that I write quite a few about Arsenal.

I guess that means I should talk about the latest derby. But y'know its tricky. I didn't see it ('cept on MoTD) and so don't have an opinion about performances etc etc etc.

but, then again it was 3 - 1 to us away from home.

so..... erm..... ha ha ha ha ha ha ha hahahahahahahahahahahahhaha!!!!!

heh...... hahahahahahahahahaha!!!!!!

not waving but... waving

So, not last Friday, but the one before (yes its been a while since I last posted, thankyou Miles). I was walking up Finsbury Sq. and looking probably a bit miserable (mainly tired after a long week but also not about to get back to the embrace of a beautiful woman. or an ugly one for that matter).

Anyway, as I'm walking along minding me own business, I pass a minicab where a passenger in the back leans over his partner and waves happily-albeit furiously - at me. His partner seems not to know what the hell's going on and I didn't recognise her A smile spreads across my gob and they're gone.

Who was that mystery man of mirth?

was it you?
probly not, but it kinda cheered me up so ta.
