i know - the last post was a little.... glum.

here is something that made me go "oooooahhh yeeeah...erm.... er great but...... why?"

Saw something quite sad the other day.

Young mother pushing her pram with young child - and the mum was wearing headphones.

Philosophically I'd been thinking that everyone is wearing headphones nowadays and that this was separating people even more than before, allowing people to drift around in their own world...

but this..?

This was just too graphic an illustration. And it wasn't a one-off - I've seen her a few times...



I guess it could be a "better parenting" CD but...

Doh!

Soooooo........... if I was a cartoon character....

hm. Actually The simpsons is fine, but I never watch it. However, they are fine and if i do watch it I like it and they have produced a nice interactive website for the fillum they've got - so no disparaging remarks from me.
